New Search Engine Launches for Photographers

April 18, 2008- (Saugatuck, Michigan) HindSight Ventures has launched a new FindAPhotographer web site, initially seeded with hundreds of top quality professional photographers and stock providers. The search engine at FindAPhotographer.us makes it easy for photo buyers to quickly find photographers based on location and/or specializations.

Each listing is accompanied by sample images, information about the photographer and links to the photographer's own web sites. At the photographer's option, a MapQuest link is included for instances in which proximity is a part of the consideration or for help in getting to the photographer's place of business.

FindAPhotographer.us is a free resource for those seeking photographers. Listed photographers participate via a subscription system that permits each one to build and update their own listing with a description of the work they do, the languages they speak, their agents, any professional affiliations and a portfolio of images. Photographers represent themselves in negotiating fees and terms for projects or licensing.

The site is initially heavy on US and Canadian photographers, but it is open to photographers world wide.
